Day 4: Hiroshima Dinner

Our Hotel the Grand Via is connected to the rail station. It rained a lot today (we are here at the end of the rainy season) and it was a relief not to worry about walking in the rain from the Bullet train to the hotel.

After our tours we changed and met for dinner. We ate at the rail station in the restaurant area.

We picked this place, with their meals showing in the window.

In front they had trays of the evenings meal options. There were 6 choices.

My meal is called "night snack" ¥1050. Includes Beer "Killian or Asahi" served here, sashimi, smoked teriyaki machreel, 3 pieces of sushi (chilled tofu, deep fried breaded white fish, and a shrimp shell on), and edamame.

Sobu noodles with cabbage and carrot salad and deep fried pork stuffed with cheese served over more Noodles. The top left has the Sony noodle dipping sauce, pour in the onion and wasabi on top and stir into the sauce before dipping your noodles in.

Left: ramen noodle soup, right Sony noodles and veggies.
