Japan has been a very interesting and exciting place thus far! I could only imagine that it will get better. The Japanese school system is fascinating with many similar systems / structures to the American school system, but its still very Japanese.
The Japanese culture is amazing! The history is fascinating, especially when you see it up close and feel the cultural/ historical spirt of its people, past & present!
Japanese food has been..., well lets just say I have tried new foods, and I haven't tasted anything I didn't like :) I expected to lose weight on this trip, I'm afraid I will have to really workout these extra pounds I'm putting on. The taste of the food has been amazing, my taste buds have been on overload every time we have a meal.
Transportation has been extremely efficient and an adventure. I must through out a disclaimer at this point---we have been traveling with our own personal guide as part of the program that brought us to Japan, so I'm sure that every detail has been handled and intentional. Nonetheless, the transportation system is modern, advanced, and can easily be navigated. If you have a question or feel lost you have plenty of information officials willing to assist.
